There is no doubt that when it comes to designing and manufacturing successful aircraft platforms with style and sophistication, Embraer, the world re-knowned commercial and executive jet manufacturer comes to mind.

WingsOverAsia threw a WOA Aircraft Appreciation Program Day for Embraer Executive Jets on Sept 18th 2010, Saturday. It was a great success. Guests enjoyed themselves.

The event was held at the ATTC hangar in Seletar Airfield, Singapore. It seemed a fitting meeting of the minds for an aircraft appreciation event to take place at a hangar renowned for its air transport and training program. On entering, it opens out and transports you into a different and most sumptuous space. We were also treated to a good spread of buffet from Goodwood Park Hotel's catering department. The food, company and presentation were wonderful. Embraer gave a presentation of their range of executive jet products and the low-downs of private jet ownership on a projector screen within the hangar.

Embraer has become one of the largest aircraft manufacturers in the world by focusing on specific market segments with high growth potential in commercial, defense, and executive aviation. They develop and adapt successful aircraft platforms and judiciously introduce new technology whenever it creates value by lowering acquisition price, reducing direct operating costs, or delivering higher reliability, comfort, and safety.

We even had a chance to enter and view the Phenom 100® jet, which is the extraordinary result of clean-sheet design, Embraer’s renowned engineering expertise and fine craftsmanship.

We had a nice turn out, nearly fifty people total, including some new faces and some folks who haven't attended for some time. The relaxed atmosphere made the event stand out.

WingsOverAsia which was responsible for putting this program together together with Embraer, says it wouldn't have been possible without the support of Embraer's Executive jets division. We send a warm "thank you" to them all.
