A closely knitted group of private aircraft owners based in Seletar Airfield, Singapore have come together to form the "Seletar Aircraft Owners' Group".

Administratively and logistically supported by WingsOverAsia's Asia-wide network, but self-managed by a passionate cohort of private aircraft operators, the Seletar Aircraft Owers Group was formed with the objective of having a shared and unified voice for private aircraft operators based in Singapore. The group consists of owners of light aircrafts to small jets and helicopters based in Seletar Aerospace Park.

Seletar airport is the sole general aviation airport and the only airport available for private aviation in a land-scarce country, city, state of Singapore. Hence, the Seletar Aircraft Owners Group pretty much represents the voice of private aviation in Singapore.

With diverse global experience and background, the group consisting of technical professionals, senior executives and successful business owners, shares a common bond of self-operating private aircrafts for combined business and lifestyle missions. The band of resident aviators combines the best brains from the local economy in a concerted effort to promote the awareness, growth and contributions of private aviation to Singapore.  

The group's near term activities involve actively engaging with Changi Airport Group, CAAS and JTC and assisting Seletar Aerospace Park planners' and policy makers assess the current and future needs of private/business aircraft operators so as to contribute to achieving a balanced view of general aviation's operational requirements in/out of Singapore.

Current working initiatives by the group includes:

- Providing grassroots level feedback and designing best practice recommendations for an optimized parking solution in Seletar Airport for light GA aircraft (Category A) that meets ICAO standards yet optimizes the land use in Seletar.  

- Presenting papers and supporting fact-finding research (to JTC/CAG) on customer-centric requirements for optimizing Seletar's private flight operation processes

- To quantify private aviation's contributions (from both local residents and transient overseas visitors) to MRO providers in Seletar Aerospace Park's eco-system and demand/supply equation

- Conceiving and executing aviation initiatives that contributes to Singapore's vision to become a lifestyle hub for HNWIs from the region
